Skywalker Hand
The Skywalker Hand is an ultrasound-driven wearable prosthetic arm that provides amputees with an unprecedented level of dexterous finger control with close to real-time latency. The hand is operated by an ultrasonic sensor and an embedded deep learning architecture for predicting continuous and simultaneous finger gestures. It allows for subtle and accurate finger movements, which supports sophisticated daily activities such as playing the piano.
