Instruments

A set of musical instruments for children and novices was designed to allow users to learn and meaningfully participate in creative and therapeutical musical experiences.

The Beatbugs were hand-held percussive instruments that allowed for the creation, manipulation, and sharing of rhythmic motifs through simple gestural interaction. The Beatbugs were later adapted to connect between novice and professional musicians during live performance.
