Bionic Drumming Prosthesis

The bionic drumming prosthesis was a musical wearable robotic device that restored the drumming abilities of amputees while providing them with new humanly impossible capabilities, such as playing 40 hits per second. The prosthesis housed two drum sticks - one responded to the drummer action, and the other had "a mind of its own." The award winning technology was featured in dozens of concerts worldwide, including the Smithsonian Institute ADA celebration and the Guinness Book of World Records.
